A Creative Collaboration
I met producer and musician Tyler Bodkins through my book, Welcome to the Creative Club. What started as an experiment with one poem, with Tyler expressing how these poems made him feel through music, evolved into a spoken word album with eleven tracks.
We shared video and voice notes across oceans and time zones, between Copenhagen and South Carolina. Jumped on Zoom calls, and became part of each other’s stories, from podcasts to weekly video projects and newsletters, throughout our creative collaboration.
We agreed we’d keep going until the tracks felt good and right in our bones.
Six months later, Famished was born.
