    BOOK LOVE FROM THE CLUB

    What readers are saying

    Creatively direct your life

Welcome to the Creative Club flings open the doors to what was once considered an exclusive, elitist club of beret-wearing artists and chain-smoking bohemians to let us all in (no application required).

We’re born creative. Then, we forget. This book helps you remember.

I know what it’s like to forget. Because I’ve been there. I lost my creative card in the chaos of a nomadic childhood, the clubs of NYC, and the ruins of my marriage.

It was only when I was alone on a train hurtling across Siberia that I re-discovered the power to creatively direct my life.

And so can you (no train necessary).

    A transformative journey

This book invites you to reclaim your creativity.

Each chapter explores how your creative club card might get lost or stolen, and how to rediscover and unleash it to make life your biggest art project ever.

We will journey through slice of life moments, from divorce to death, showing how I lost and found my creative power, as well as concepts, research, and fieldwork.

When you recognize your power as the creator of your experience, the designer of your life, from business building to whipping up pasta puttanesca, you are free to create it.

    This is for you if…

    • You’re ready to create the business, art project, or idea you’ve been dying to make, but something is getting in your way.

    • You are hearing the call for change.

    • You are ready to step into main character energy.

    • You might be on the fence, on the cliff’s edge, in need of support and encouragement.

    • You’re about to leap and feel alone in it.

    • Something in you recognizes your capability.

    This book is not

    Another how-to book.

In a world constantly trying to tell you how to be more efficient, more enlightened, have better habits, communicate effectively, make friends, influence people, think fast and slow, and be your best self, this book is not telling you, but inviting you into your own knowing.

It’s an invitation to reconnect to your creative power and find your own way. It flips the bird at external experts and urges you to become your own (then learn from people).

    It is an invitation

The fundamental premise of this book is you are already a card-carrying member of the creative club. You don’t have to prove your worth through a lengthy application form.

This book invites you to reconnect to yourself, your innate creativity, and use it to design your experience of life.

Take out your wallet, pull out your card, and enter the club. We’re waiting.

    The world needs your creativity.
